Founded in 1972 as Design Specialists, Bill Wood and his team have embodied the core values of collaboration, quality and integrity for over four decades, and have been devoted to raising the standards for conference interpretation to the highest level. Bill has designed interpretation equipment and sound isolation booths to meet the needs of interpreters and has a long history in remote interpretation, receiving one of the first patents in the field in the early 1990s. He is known globally as an audio pioneer and is frequently quoted. The company is now run by Naomi Bowman who joined in 1988. Our current technology focus is to work with startups that are working to meet true market needs and implement their technologies successfully and effectively in the marketplace through strategic partnerships.
